The Medical Cannabis NP Process

Step 1:
​Questions before getting started? Schedule a consultation.

The Medical Cannabis Card process begins once you make an appointment for a medical evaluation. 

Step 2:
No Questions? Speak to the Nurse Practitioner (NP)

This will take place over video. During your short visit, the NP will conduct your medical evaluation/consultation, complete initial paperwork, and review any important medical records via Virtual Visit.

Step 3:
​Submit your patient form, State ID, and make your payment

After completing you NP interaction, and requirements are met, you will be emailed your certificate.

Step 4: Receive your Virginia Cannabis Certificate and access to local dispensaries

Once your Certification is done, you can engage your local dispensary according to their protocols and purchase Cannabis.  See information on some of the local dispensaries.
